Rev. Dr. Helen Chan has been a proud member of WBC since 2015 and has faithfully served as a Deacon since 2021.
She earned her Doctor of Ministry degree from Acadia Divinity College (ADC) and has served as a spiritual care provider and non-denominational hospital chaplain with Nova Scotia Health in Halifax since 2019. In this role, she supports not only inpatients but also individuals in the outpatient cancer centre and palliative care unit.
Ordained in 2005, Helen previously led one of the most vibrant youth ministries in a megachurch in Hong Kong for over 12 years. More recently, she has been actively involved with a global Chinese Christian institute and network, providing training in spiritual caregiving to hundreds of dispersed Chinese Christians around the world.
