Wolfville Baptist Church has a program called "Heart for Children and Youth". Through donations by people in the WBC,  the church supports the Wolfville school's food support program by providing monthly protein packages delivered directly  to families of children identified by the school as needing this support.  You may designate your donations for this program through your offering to the church by directing it to MISSIONS on an offering envelope. At the end of the year, you will receive a receipt for your donation which can be used for tax reduction. 

 

The church partners with Wolfville Elementary School to assist children at the school for  the Children's Support Program provides adult tutors under the supervision of a teacher at the school.  Ideally a volunteer meets a student in the school twice each week directly after school at 2:30 pm. Volunteers need to have all their security checks completed to submit for the school.  The church will provide assistance in getting the suitable forms submitted. The students really enjoy themselves in their time with the volunteers.  The school has seen the benefits of supporting children in their learning Would you like to be a volunteer to help children?
