Meet our Ministry Team

Rev. Dr. Glen Eagleson - Interim Pastor

 

Interim minister Rev. Dr. Glen Eagleson brings over 23 years of congregational ministry experience, along with 12 years as a military chaplain, and is deeply committed to Christ-centred preaching, pastoral care, and guiding congregations through seasons of discernment and transition. Glen has served in a variety of pastoral roles, including lead pastor, preaching pastor, church planter, and young adult minister. He also served as a chaplain in the Canadian Armed Forces, where his gifts in crisis care, leadership, and spiritual support were further strengthened. He holds degrees from York University, Ontario Theological Seminary, and Tyndale University and Seminary, where he completed a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation. Glen is married to Kimberly, and together they have three children and three grandchildren. For more information, click here.

Jennifer Longley - Pastoral Care Associate

 

Jennifer earned a Master of Divinity degree from Acadia Divinity College where she completed advanced studies in pastoral care and counselling and an extra practicum in palliative care. This led to additional training in bereavement support and to facilitating support groups throughout the Valley since 1993. She has worked as a Chaplain, as a trained palliative care volunteer and as a Support Coordinator with Caregivers Nova Scotia. A senior herself with her life experience of becoming a young widow with children and now the blessings of many grandchildren all help her understand many of the joys and sorrows we encounter.

Dr. Heather Price - Director of Music

 

After completing her Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Toronto, Heather enjoyed a successful career as an educator, most recently teaching at Acadia University in the Music Therapy Program. Heather is also a Certified Music Therapist, with training in Guided Imagery and Music. She also holds a Master of Education in Counselling from Acadia University. 

 

Often directing from the piano, Heather invites vocalists and musicians, including students from Acadia University, to come together to bring musical offerings for weekly worship services. Offerings have included hymns and praise songs, classical and jazz, as well as taizé. In addition to her work at the church, she is also active in Wolfville and surrounding area, participating in community choirs, theatre, and musicals, as well as L’Arche special events.
