Chaplain Jennifer Longley
Pastor of Congregational Care
Jennifer earned a Master of Divinity degree from Acadia Divinity College where she completed advanced studies in pastoral care and counselling and an extra practicum in palliative care. This led to additional training in bereavement support and to facilitating support groups throughout the Valley since 1993. She has worked as a Chaplain, as a trained palliative care volunteer and as a Support Coordinator with Caregivers Nova Scotia. A senior herself with her life experience of becoming a young widow with children and now the blessings of many grandchildren all help her understand many of the joys and sorrows we encounter.

DR. heather price
Director of Music
Heather reveals her love for music each week at Wolfville Baptist Church. Often directing from the piano, she invites vocalists and musicians, including students from Acadia University, to come together to bring musical offerings for weekly worship services. Offerings have included hymns and praise songs, classical and jazz, as well as taizé.
Following the completion of her Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Toronto, Heather has had a successful career as an educator, most recently teaching at Acadia University in the Music Therapy Program. Heather is also a Certified Music Therapist, with training in Guided Imagery and Music, and she has also earned a Master of Education in Counselling at Acadia University.
We are deeply grateful that Heather shares her musical gifts and expertise with our congregation. In addition to her work at the church, she is also active in Wolfville and surrounding area, participating in community choirs, theatre, and musicals, as well as L’Arche special events.
