Rev. Dr. Glen Eagleson

Rev. Dr. Glen Eagleson will begin serving as our part-time Interim Pastor on March 31, 2026. He brings over 23 years of congregational ministry experience, along with 12 years as a military chaplain. Glen is deeply committed to Christ-centred preaching and pastoral care, with a particular passion for guiding congregations through seasons of discernment and transition.

Glen is ordained with the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptists of Canada. Since moving to Atlantic Canada in 2013, he and his family have been active in local church life, first in St. John’s at The Crossing Church and now in Halifax at Deep Water Church.

Glen has served in a variety of pastoral roles in Ontario, including Lead Pastor at Bradford Baptist Church, Preaching Pastor at Newmarket Alliance Church, and Pastor of a church plant in North York that grew from six to 250 people. He also served as Minister with Young Adults at The Peoples Church in Toronto. His experience as a chaplain in the Canadian Armed Forces has further strengthened his gifts in crisis care, organizational leadership, and spiritual support for individuals and families.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from York University, as well as both a Master of Theological Studies and a Master of Divinity from Ontario Theological Seminary. Most recently, he completed a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation at Tyndale University and Seminary. His doctoral project focused on spiritual formation within church boards.

Glen is married to Kimberly, and together they have three children and three grandchildren. In addition to this interim role, he serves part-time as a civilian chaplain and volunteers with Hospice Halifax. He is also a trained Spiritual Director working toward certification and is the founder of Space for God Formational Ministries, a ministry dedicated to spiritual formation within church leadership, instruction in spiritual formation, and individual spiritual direction.

Glen will be serving Wolfville Baptist Church on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sunday mornings.
