Warm Winter Clothing Needed

Some of our International Students don't have the proper clothing for our Canadian winter. Therefore, Acadia University is requesting donations of used winter clothing.

We hope to provide high quality items to preserve our International Students' dignity, and therefore cannot accept donated items that are ripped, stained or otherwise unwearable.

Selection: Quality items such as sweaters, raincoats, winter coats and jackets, snow pants, scarves, winter boots, hats, gloves, mittens.  ALSO, gift cards to Carl's Independent and Shoppers Drug Mart would also be gratefully accepted.

Condition: Please wash/dry clean all clothing items before donating.

 

Drop off:  Items must be dropped off at the Wong International Centre during office hours only:

 

Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm until November 27.

 

There is a drop-off bin located in the front entrance of the Wong International Centre.

 

Selection and pick up for students will be held the week of November 29. Thank you in advance for your generous donations and for your wonderful support of international students at Acadia!
