Funds raised for Open Arms

Thank you fundraisers, donors and walkers for participating in this year’s Coldest Night of the Year walk! Sixteen walkers showed up on a cold, snowy day at 10:00 am on February 26 to plough our way through snowy streets and trails around Wolfville. We had all ages and stages, good conversations and got the blood flowing.

Our WBC Willing Walkers raised $1,442, which thrilled co-captains Shon Whitney and Beth Crosby. This money goes to Open Arms in Kentville. They exceeded their goal in the Annapolis Valley by raising $133,963.04. Over $11 million was raised for non-profits across Canada. The Annapolis Valley was 19th out of 165 teams across Canada!

Well done all! Thanks for your support.
