CHOIR
NOTES: Sanctuary Choir
All voices are welcome and we look forward to having
you join with us in our music and
worship. If you have
been curious about getting involved in the choir,
now is the time to do it! Worried about time and
commitment? Plan to join us for six weeks and decide
then if this is the right commitment for you to be
making. Not only will you be making a contribution
to our church: singing is good for you! Singing in
choirs has been shown to enhance our lives not only
spiritually, but also physically, socially and
emotionally. So welcome back to our already faithful
choir members and a special welcome to you if you
are coming for the first time.
Choral Scholars Needed
• Like to sing? Want to explore singing in a church
choir?
Would like to develop leadership skills,
sight-reading and ear training?
• Wolfville Baptist offers four choral scholarships
at the value of $1000 per year, ($500 per term) to
four singers who will serve as section leads in the
sanctuary choir .
• Duties include Thursday night choir practice,
Sunday morning practice and
service. Sept.-Dec. and Jan.-April.
• Must be able to sight read and sing in tune!!
